Great location. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor, shops, restaurants and the Casco Antiguo. The staff was super friendly. The room was clean, spacious and the bed/pillows comfortable. The parking garage is close by, better to park and walk to the hotel than try and drop off bags. The property established great communication at all times prior to checking in.

It is a beautiful city with lots of historic places to visit. Amazing restaurants to try typical dishes and mainly the cheese! It seems difficult to access sometimes (mainly the old historic area), but taxis reach practically everywhere. Sadly, my trip was a business one and only for a weekend, but the city deserves more days to fully enjoy it!

Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around.
Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around. Slightly off the beaten track with not too many foreign tourists there, particularly in February. Speaking a little Spanish is useful. Would definitely recommend.

Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city.
Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city. The museum is very well set out starting with paleotonic times and there is no charge to go in.
I also loved the Arab museum - only a relatively small building but with some many distinct rooms and full of the everyday things that were used. A real house, not just a made to look like one.
Good ‘menu’ at the Colon Kiosk that’s around from the hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Beautifully clean, lovely helpful staff

Caceres was a highlight of a monthlong trip through Portugal and Andalucia. I would like to have spent three or four days there. There's a wonderful modern art museum in the Old City area. Do not miss a romantic nighttime stroll.

Caceres is a must-visit jewel in Spain's repertoire of fabulous historic places to visit. So many places to see but all in walking distance of the parador - Plaza de la Concepcion, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Santa Maria and the cathedral, Torre do los Pozos, the water cisterns and the Torre de Bujaco. All are wonderful sights to visit. Very easy to walk around and the Plaza Mayor has many restaurants and bars from which to choose where to eat.
This was the fifth time I had stayed at this lovely little hotel right in the centre of Cáceres. Which probably sums up my feelings about the place. Beautifully located (although parking can sometimes be an issue) right in the middle of this fabulous little city, on the edge of the medieval 'old town', Don Carlos is a characterful and comfortable reflection of Cáceres itself. Highly recommended to anyone. Great choice of restaurants within a short walk, and the breakfast (5€90 at February 2024 prices) is excellent!
Very central to Cáceres. The owner has thought of every need and was very attentive. It is a small basement apartment so no views overlooking the city but actually, in a hot city, it is brilliant for keeping cool and quiet when you are in it. It is in the centre of the old part of Caceres and its historic buildings. It is very close to Cáceres's vibrant town square which is also a lovely place to have breakfast. Parking available in hotel nearby.
the hotel is historic and everything was beautiful. There has been remodeling but the character was left intact. The staff was exceptional, very kind and helpful. The location was great and we could walk everywhere quickly. The neighborhood was full of life! Yes, there was noise at night, but not very late, and it is to be expected in a hotel so centrally located. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We stayed in Caceres for a day so we were looking for a nice apartment in the centre of the city that would enable us to see all the major sights. Glad we booked the el patio apartments. Very clean, excellent interior design and super comfortable bed! On top of this Christina, our host, shared with us tips regarding good restaurants in the area and was attentive to our needs.
The room was so clean and fresh with good linen and towels - and I loved having a duvet instead of the usual heavy blankets. Only a few minutes walk to get to the wonderful old city of Caceres but, because the hotel is not on a main road it was really quiet and peaceful at night
Jorge the host/manager is great with information and help with taxis etc.
The staff are outstanding and were extremely helpful with special requests that we had. From the receptionists to the porter to the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel welcome. We had stayed at this hotel several times before and requested our favorite room, which they immediately agreed to. We highly recommend this hotel.
This was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at during out trip though Spain and Portugal. Room was large well set up, very lovely and upscale. It was extremely comfortable and very relaxing. It was a great choice with parking right downstairs and access via an elevator. I would definitely stay here again!
Parked in the underground car park as I had a problem with my car.I couldn’t fix the issue but it was good to work on it in the shade so thank you.Really nice hotel & staff, would definitely stay there again.Short taxi ride into Caceres old town (12 euro) so a no brainer for me.
A lovely family run hotel just around the corner from the Plaza Mayor. The room was lovely and the family/staff also lovely and really helpful. This hotel is a great place to be based to explore wonderful Cáceres. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Rooms are big enough and the şocation is very centric. The hotel basically located in the historic city center. Room vas very clean, there was complimentary coffee which was nice. Staff was helpful and there was a lot pf restaura ts and cafes around.
We had a wonderful stay in Caceres. Hotel la Boheme is fabulous. Our hosts Rosa and Santiago went above and beyond to make our stay a most enjoyable one. I wish we had another day there. I can highly recommend this hotel. It's close to everything.
Two joined together authentic historic beautifully renovated private houses from 1500s. Fabulous restaurant. Parador is set in historic old town of medieval Cáceres totally preserved from the 14th- 16th centuries. Fabulous setting fabulous place.
Breakfast available at hotel was fabulous- try the orange juice.
Went to restaurant La Menerva and had beautiful meal- beef tartare and tomato salad. Hotel staff suggested this restaurant and ur was excellent looking out at the square
